Movies to watch for 70s style

The 70s are back in the form of flare-leg jeans, camel coats, and ponchos. Based on Spring 2011 runways such as Derek Lam, the decade is here to stay for a little while longer at least. To better get that 70s look, I have compiled a list of movies to look to for inspiration. Some of these are late 60s, but they were too good not to share. They are not only good for style but classics that everyone should see at least once. Annie Hall is another good one, but I think that movie has been covered ad nauseum lately.

Kramer vs Kramer (1979) Meryl Streep & Dustin Hoffman: Brown slouchy boots, tie-neck blouses, ponchos and turtle necks, and denim shirts

The Thomas Crowne Affair (1968) Faye Dunaway & Steve McQueen: Camel turtlenecks, halter tops, short swim trunks, aviators, and three piece suits

The Graduate (1967) Dustin Hoffman & Ann Bancroft: Polos, fur, and lots of sheer blouses and dresses

The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) Roger Moore & Barbara Bach: Billowy blouses, big collared shirts, maxi dresses, and rad bikinis
