Put on the costume

I love drama and getting dressed up. In that regard, I have a lot in common with Snookie. However, my version of getting dressed up usually involves more than a t-shirt re-purposed as a dress. I also love large Italian men who can sing, so when I saw discounted tickets to Pagliacci on Groupon, I knew I had to go. The singers were amazing to listen to, the costumes and settings were beautiful, and the subtitles were just what I needed to get through the lack-luster opening performance to the meat of the tragically romantic lyrics of Pagliacci. The last thing I wanted to do was look like I was trying to dress for the Opera. There were already several regulars there already looking the part, so I went with this flowy dress and tailored jacket for a dressed up “younger” look.
