The first snow/outfit post

I was very surprised this Friday while on my way to Michael Symon’s latest Cleveland culinary experience, BSpot, I found myself caught in what can only be described as a freak snow storm. So on Saturday when I ventured out for some early Christmas shopping, I was ready with the Wellies. I like the way I wore this gingham shirt much better than last time. Even though the shirt is of a thicker material, I needed another layer to stay warm in this unexpected cold weather, hence the sweater tunic. Has anyone had their first snow/snow storm? Want to move to Cleveland? The weather is beautiful!

Jack Wills: Mornier Dress

The Mornier Dress is definitely my favorite. I love the babydoll dress style and it even has a lace ruffle peplum lining. How cute is that? The floral print reminds me of something vintage. It is more subtle than some of the other floral prints that are really popular right now, and I like that. When the forecast predicted rain, I knew my green Hunter Wellingtons would really compliment the playfulness of this dress. I can definitely see this dress as an alternative for date nights and summer barbecues.

When I first tried on this dress the scoop neck was quite low. It is definitely meant to be worn with a tank top layered underneath. It would look really cute with a white blouse and leggings during early spring or fall.
