My New Instagram Account
I’ve created a new Instagram account to share my outfits, style inspiration and recipes for good food and good DIYs. I’ll still be posting on the blog from time to time, but I figured this would allow me to share my outfits and inspiration with you a lot faster. Follow me @cosmocleve and let me know if you like what you see!
Goodwill Good Style Fashion Show 2015 Inspiration
I’m excited to share that I’ve been invited to do the Goodwill Good Style Fashion show again this year! So mark your calendars for Thursday, May 7. Every year I try to gather inspiration before I hit the stores. I never have a theme in mind going in. I typically just let the clothing I find inspire me, however, it helps to have some ideas to start with. I get my inspiration everywhere — from magazine spreads to other bloggers. To get a preview of what I have been thinking of see my pinterest boards including styles I love, runway looks, streetstyle and a new thing I am thinking of adding this year: do-it yourself looks.
Style inspiration: Sheer flowy dress
This dress from StyleSightings is so gorgeous. You can see how beautifully it flows when this woman walks just by looking at the picture. I think the dark navy blazer is the perfect compliment as well as those cute flats. And it falls into the category of amazing sheer clothing.
Friday inspiration
This looks cool. Have you ever tried braiding a piece of fabric through your hair? It would be cute at the beach. And I just love those patterns from Hermes.

Inspirations
The Globe had a very interesting Q&A with Scott Schuman, a street-style blogger, better known as the Sartorialist. He brings to the table a fresh perspective on fashion. The idea behind the blog is that people are inspired by what other people are wearing day-to-day, not by fashion labels. I couldn’t agree more. I have my fair share of fashion icons and I love to look at the pretty dresses and outfits every season, but it is hard to be inspired by an expensive outfit that I will never be able to buy. I am much more inspired by everyday people who achieve a flawless look, but then you find out they are wearing a hand-me-down or something they found at a thrift store. That is much more interesting.
