Night Fever

Black dress pants have been in my playbook for a long time. I still remember my first pair from the Gap; they had the zipper in the back and no pockets for an effect similar to jeggings unexposed. But that’s all in the past now. Fast-forward to the aughts with these awesome flair-leg black pants with big belt loops from the Limited. These definitely say Saturday Night Fever, however, I actually like the 70s flair. They make business casual a little more snazzy. Pairing these pants with the big belt and aviators adds to the “vintage” effect. The 70s is a time period that I don’t see many people trying to recreate. Flare-leg jeans made a brief appearance in the 90s, but a full-on reversion to the 70s, meaning fro hair and gold lame jumpsuits, needs to happen. It’s only a matter of time.

Strawberry fields forever

I am one who likes to go rummaging through the digital sale bins. When I saw these red loafers on Aldo’s Web site for $24.98, I couldn’t help myself from picturing the cute outfits that could become of them. I thought these would look really cute with a green cardigan for some reason. Although this color combination may be better suited for fall, it’s still fun to justify a purchase with imaginary outfits.
