The wedding was outside on Patterson’s Fruit Farm, also in Chesterland, OH. The sun was shining and the weather was beautiful.
Maria looked gorgeous in her white dress and irises.
Maria and Peter planned their entire ceremony, with friends reading different passages from their favorite books and poems. They had a friend who drove all the way from Chicago to officiate their wedding. And they wrote their own vows. It was one of the most intimate, sincere, and creative weddings.
There was much fun had by all and the young and old took their turns on the dance floor. It was a blast. I don’t think my sister and her new husband could have planned a better time.
So I have to bid all of you in blogland adieu. But I will be back next week with the highlights of the event and photos! Have a nice long weekend! Ciao!

I have noticed that a lot of bloggers get really excited about wedding planning. I am not exactly there yet, but I do appreciate good planning and detailing for an event. That’s why when I went to this wedding in Dallas, I was really excited to find out that they had a photo booth for all of the guests to take silly photos. After the wedding the bride and groom could look through all of the funny pictures of their friends and family. What a great way to remember everyone who was there to help you celebrate. Here I am with my beau trying to be silly for the photo booth.
I hope you all have a great weekend!
I am a bridesmaid in a wedding this weekend so no time to talk. I have to go! Wish me luck! Muah! Muah!
